Are you exhausted or in pain by the end of the day?

While our pace of life seems to have accelerated to breakneck speed, our lifestyle has become more sedentary.  By the end of the day we’re often left feeling drained and uncomfortable.

It can help you recover from illness, injury, surgery, as well as chronic or recurring pain.

 Improve your posture.

Feel more at ease whether you are working at a computer, preparing for an important meeting or presentation, coping with a chronic condition, going to the gym, or playing a musical instrument.

Find out how the Alexander Technique can help you?

I am based at the BBC on Thursday mornings in the Therapy Room in Wogan House, 99 Great Portland Street, W1A 1AA.

Almost without exception everyone who comes to see me at the BBC is looking for a way to be more comfortable at work.

The combination of a screen, a deadline, the phone ringing, and all the other incessant calls for our attention makes it unsurprising that by the time we get home we can feel tense, tired and in pain.

About me
My previous career was in radio and I was a producer making programmes for Radio 4. Very interesting but often stressful with lots of deadlines.

Frequently I’d arrive home depleted of energy with an aching lower back. But then I discovered that things could be so different.
